You can update Apper App Landing WordPress theme in two ways,
It is recommended that you backup all of your WordPress files and your database before updating the theme so you can roll back in case something goes wrong.
1. Automatic update via Envato Toolkit
- Download and install the Envato Market plugin
- Login to your Themeforest account Under Settings > API Keys, generate an API key and copy it.
- Now login to your wordpress admin panel and navigate to Envato Toolkit page.
- Fill in your username and API key in the respective fields.
- Once you save, you can then update your theme automatically.
2. Manual update
- Download the theme from your envato account downloads page as “Installable WordPress files only” to your local computer.
- After extracting the downloaded archive “apper-wordpress-theme.zip“, login in to your FTP and browse to the theme folder files on your computer.
- Just replace all files in the theme folder and that’s it.
The website content and your theme settings won’t be impacted in any way by updating the theme using any of these methods unless you have made changes to the core theme files.
